New Mexico State Fair-September 2009

I spent four wonderful days, missing school was the best part lol jk, learning how the contest worked and what I was going to have to do to prepare myself for the 2010 Contest!. I met many wonderful girls.--> Brooklyn Chester, Miss Rodeo NM.. At the speeches she was cracking everyone up!! LOL!

Kassi, Miss Curry County, This girl is amazing!! She was one of my favorites!!

We can take you for a ride on our Big Green Tractors!! Lol Courtney, Sandoval County Queen!! We are competing together this year!. We made a deal we were gonna take care of each cause we wont have our mom's :(

Cottonwood Festival-September 2009

My very first apperence as Otero County Fair and Rodeo Queen!! I was very nervous but everything turned out fine.. It was pretty fun!. Miss Otero County and Miss Alamogordo.. I'm bad with names.. Sorry Girls!!

2009 Otero County Fair & Rodeo

My week started out with gettin my lamb to the fair grounds on time and make sure he was takin care of while I out queeing lol.. Wednesday was rough! I had horsemanship, my speech and modeling and the private interview. Once that was done I had to hand out ribbions at the pig show!! On top of being sick!! :( We started bright and early and it still didnt seem early enough.. this right here is what happens when you relize you dont have enough bobby pins or hairspray!! Lol.. Everyone in K-Mart was lookin at me like I was nuts!!

Thursday.. I got to show and kick back til the goat show!! which was a blast but it got really cold really quick.. Rained way to hard!! Friday was the big night! We handed out a few ribbons for the heifer show then off to get ready for the crowing =] Dani crowing me and Colten being a sweetheart and holdin Dekah for me!
